Anchor Clues:
- Start at the opening in the wooden fence right after the park bulletin board (on the left). Follow Waystop 1 and its paved path to the very top of the hill and walk past Waystop 6. Take a minute to enjoy the view!
- Locate the compass that is on the ground inside a circle. Look for the “E” that points toward the river. Walk to the east from the compass and look for a grass path, just to the left of two rocks.
- Follow the grass path down the hill. Cross the paved path and continue on the grass path down the hill.
- At the Y intersection, turn left. The road is now on the right.
- Continue following the grass path through the field. The path will wind around several times.
- At the T intersection, turn right. A wooden kestrel box (birdhouse) will be on the right.
- Continue on the grass path until you reach a ‘rounded corner’ of the field. The post can be found here.
- To return to the parking area, continue ahead on the grass path.
- At the paved path and the T intersection, turn right and follow the path to the parking area.
